A male Twelve-spotted Skimmer dragonfly (Libellula pulchella) catches a damselfly by the end of its abdomen. It was apparently an inadvertent move, as the dragonfly flew away soon thereafter and left the damselfly in peace. The damselfly may be an Orange Bluet (Enallagma signatum), but I’m not positive.
